Nathaniel Paul – (Singer-Songwriter, Producer, Multi-Instrumentalist) was born in Michigan City, IN. After moving to NYC, he has been on the road touring with The Bergamot. His musical background is in classical guitar. He writes and performs all of the elements of his productions.
Glide Magazine says Nathaniel has created, “a bold musical statement with cutting vocal dynamics that weave throughout warm and fastidious instrumental color. Paul possesses an acute sense of production and arrangement, creating a whimsically creative world reminiscent of Tame Impala and Mac Demarco.”

Fun Fact:

It was recorded in a room in Sedona, AZ. “The World We’re Living In” is the follow up to his critically acclaimed debut album “Learning to Listen” out last year. Nathaniel shot the video for “The World We’re Living In” in New York City. “It was a fun shoot on the cell phone taking random shots of me singing along with the song. It was basically just a day in the city.”

Nathaniel Paul’s sophomore album “Turpentine” will be released in early Summer 2023 via AWAL. Singer-songwriter and producer from The Emmy award winning band ‘The Bergamot’, is set to release his sophomore album in the spring of 2023. The album’s 2nd single “The World We’re Living In” is out on June 9th. Nathaniel will be releasing a series of music videos and singles throughout 2023 to promote a new album out this summer. The Bergamot is also releasing a full length award winning documentary called “State of the Unity” this fall.

“I wanted this video to be a reflection on where our culture is at” states Paul. “It was a lot of fun to put it all together – juxtaposing different elements of life next to each other, it makes you feel something” he laughs. “It was a concept that really helped to elevate the lyrics of the song.”
